Moravian Academy

Moravian Academy is a preschool through 12th-grade independent, co-educational, college preparatory school in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. 

As the ninth oldest independent school in the United States, Moravian Academy nurtures the joyful spirit of each learner and empowers inclusive global citizens to think critically, communicate effectively, lead with integrity, and strive for excellence. Moravian Academy offers two distinct preschool-through-8th-grade programs:

Swain Campus (PS-8 in Allentown, PA): A secular, project-based curriculum with outdoor experiences and confidence-building performances on 20 acres of green space.

Historic Downtown Campus (PS-8 in Bethlehem, PA): A transformative academic program featuring inclusive Moravian traditions and engaging programs like Spanish Immersion and Suzuki Strings, all within historic buildings.

Both programs foster expertise, independence, curiosity, and character, preparing students for Upper School. 

At the Upper School on the Merle-Smith Campus (9-12 in Bethlehem, PA), students experience a college-like environment across 120 acres. They develop advanced independent thinking and research skills while collaborating on hands-on projects, guided by personalized college counseling. Our graduates excel at top institutions, leading lives filled with joy and purpose.
