Lehigh Valley Public Media, home of PBS39/WLVT (PBS39.org), 91.3 WLVR NPR (wlvr.org), acts as the catalyst to promote civic engagement, and to fulfill the regional needs of the Greater Lehigh Valley, through its dynamic communication platforms and resources. Lehigh Valley Public Media and the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley are partnering to fund and fulfill the regional literacy initiative Lehigh Valley Reads. This campaign is working to ensure all Lehigh Valley students read on grade level by the end of third grade by 2025. Lehigh Valley Public Media is a community-owned public media organization serving eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Musselman. Jamie has been ceaselessly committed to her hometown community in her professional and volunteer work. After returning to the Lehigh Valley from New York City, Jamie continued growing her family's advertising agency, Musselman Advertising, Inc. And with 5 other business leaders, she founded and grew a de novo bank before selling it to Fulton Financial Corporation in 1998. Jamie is devoted to cultivating the arts in the Lehigh Valley, and has lead her family company in the support and marketing of many of them. Jamie served on the Board of Directors of Lehigh Valley Public Media, for 15 years, including as Chair. Currently she serves on the Board of Trustees of the Allentown Art Museum of the Lehigh Valley and is proud to be a Trustee of The Harry C. Trexler Trust.

They love seeing behind the scenes in our studios, and getting to use our professional equipment to create a video, not to mention learning about broadcast careers. Today we welcomed students from Freedom High School in the Bethlehem Area School District. Good News at PBS39 is a comprehensive program offering students a pathway to exposure, education, and hands-on experiences in the many careers related to media production/news.
