Calling all needlework experts! We are officially OUT of all baby BLANKETS! Please share this message with all of your baby blanket experts! We need sizes from preemie and beyond! NEW and UNUSED donations ONLY due to the fragile health of these babies. Purchased baby blankets are accepted, too! Suggestions- no smaller than 24x30 inches. Fabrics/yarn must be able to be washed. No holes so that small fingers could go through. And please do not attach anything that could fall off. With exactly one week to the #LilysHopeGala, and 4 days from the official #birthday of #LilysHopeFoundation, we thrilled to share our #Milestones! A little late…but 2023 ended as our busiest year to date by supporting 888 #NICUfamilies across the country! Every year since we started, we have seen year over year growth! This brings our overall total families helped to OVER 5,500 families since 2013! And already this year, we have supported 202 families in 2024! 🥳🌺 Now, we need your help! #LilysHope received a referral this week for a family with a great need. Within a few days of a #NICUbaby being discharged from the hospital, the baby suddenly stopped breathing. After the family saved the baby by performing CPR, the baby was readmitted to the hospital and then discharged back home. A specific request came from the Social Worker to supply this family with an Owlet Smart Baby Monitor which provides "Live Health Readings and Health Notifications." More specifically, it monitors the baby's pulse ox and heart rate to alert if the baby isn't breathing. We reached out to a fellow #NICUmom who started a #NonProfit that also supports #NICUfamilies. Silvie Bells was able to help us support this family and answer their urgent need for an #OwletSmartBabyMonitor. Today the Owlet baby monitor and their accompanying #carepackage shipped to this very deserving family, and we could not be more grateful for this true collaboration to help a #NICUfamily.
