Our team had a Super Saturday at the Veterans Resource Center!! 10 facilitators got certified today 🙌🏻 Our P2P Facilitator Training Program is very in-depth and was created by our Veterans Clinical Team. We had 10 attendees. 3 of them were our First Responders Eve Chiles & Joe Gibbs. As a matter of fact, just as the training finished, one of them got a call that they had to go out on. Others had appointments. They were gone by the time we realized we didn't get a photo. What was really cool, was some of them were there just getting a refresher in the training and were there to encourage the newer trainees. We all learned some new things, ate delicious food, and worked on team building. We all agreed that diversity is our strength, and we can use those differences to compliment one another. One of the biggest components of the training was self-care. Although it is very important to understand the role of a facilitator and co-facilitator, but it's also except important that we stress the importance of self-care so that we are careful not to pour from an empty cup. Our organization is forever grateful to Kelsey Aikens, MSW, LSW, CMIP and Danielle Becker for putting this training together. Christopher Yarnell, CPS, who is our president as well as a CPS, facilitated the training for his first time today. Although he has been through the training himself and been certified, he will tell you that participating in and facilitating it are two very different things. He did a great job. We will continue to equip our team with the necessary tools they need so we can best serve the Veteran's and First Responder's Communities. Because #TogetherWeRise 🇺🇲 #Impact2024 #NewFacilitators #Empower #Deploy #Serve #Impact2024 #MakingADifferenceIn2024

ANNOUNCING OUR VOLUNTEERS OF THE YEAR!! 📢 This is a special announcement post to recognize the dynamic duo of Michael and Maria. Michael and Maria are huge assets to our team. We can recall a few times when we would have no one sign up for an event except Michael and Maria. They have been a staple of dependability. Mike was in the Airforce from 88-92. He continues his service now to his fellow veterans alongside Maria. They do so much for our veterans and mission. They really are an amazing team. They are dedicated. They are #BattleBorne!! 🇺🇲 #AirForceVeteran #VolunteersOfTheYear #TeamWorkMakesTheDreamWork

"We get by with a little help from our friends." That's pretty much our motto at BATTLE BORNE. TOGETHER WE RISE is more to us than a catchy phrase. Our mission depends on it. Today's Coffee & Connections was a huge hit. Not only did we get to meet many other resources we can use to better serve the Veterans Community, but we had a blast doing so. Thanks to everyone who came out today. Major shout out to our veteran sister Heidi and PA CareerLink® Lehigh Valley for hosting today. We appreciate all their efforts 🇺🇸 #TogetherWeRise #PRC #PACareerLink #Coffee #Connections #Community Treatment Trends, Inc. #Impact2024

Another amazing program that's FREE for men and women veterans. Hybrid option available for those that can't make it in person. We are truly grateful for our friends and partners at Women Veterans Empowered & Thriving for providing this opportunity. Because of partnerships like this one, we can provide more programming to benefit veterans. It's not about one organization doing it all. It's always been about working together🤙🏻#TogetherWeRise #Impact2024 #VeteranProgramming #MakingADifferenceIn2024
