Last week, the ladies of Dress for Success Charlotte and Adams Outdoor celebrated 4 years of collaboration. DFS's mission is to empower women to achieve economic independence and we made it our mission to let Charlotte know about the important work happening in their community. After some serious brainstorming, we decided a great way to raise money and awareness was to promote DFS's #YourHourHerPower fundraising program for the entirety of Women's History Month. Each day in March, we feature a "woman in power" that makes this program possible. To amplify the message further, each participant was encouraged to get a photo in front of their own billboard and share on social media. This simple but effective out-of-home and social media strategy has given these amazing women and DFS a spotlight that cannot be ignored as it continues to shatter fundraising expectations each year we work together.
