Tinker’N is a donation based business that re-purposes unique materials destined for landfills and gets them into the hands of people of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels for unique experiences that excite ones imagination, curiosity, and creativity through tinkering. Tinker'N is what happens when you try something you don’t quite know how to do, guided by whim, imagination, and curiosity. When you tinker, there are no instructions – but there are also no failures, no right or wrong ways of doing things. It’s about figuring out how things work and reworking them. It’s about trying new things, exploring our environment, or trying crazy ideas just because. Tinker'N is head scratching, trial and error and Aha! moments. Tinker'N is seeing things in a different way. Tinker’N offers you the opportunity to get creative with alternative art supplies while helping make a positive impact on the environment. Each week we will explore embracing the pause, give ourselves a chance to reconnect with ourselves, connect with other moms and renew our spirits learning and applying realistic ways to nurture our selves so that we can move from surviving to thriving. October kicks off a monthly series of MOMents where each week we will not only discuss the what to do but also the why and the how. We will come together in a safe, supportive environment to learn how to silence the inner critic, what are the little things we can realistically do to take care of ourselves, and create a plan to make it happen so that we no longer have to try to fill the cups of our loved ones from an empty or near empty pitcher.
