We love what we do at Reset Outdoors. As with any job, some days are better than others. January 18th was a work day that defies description. On this day, we had the PLEASURE of being a part of the programming for the Partnership for After School Education (PASE)/The City University of New York Emerging Leader Training Program focused on supporting the development of Authentic and Adaptable Leadership skills for the teams who create and deliver after school programs in the NYC area. This group was truly extraordinary. Their focus, engagement, commitment, honesty and sense of humor made this day one that will keep inspiration tanks full, for a long time. Thank you team. We can’t wait to see you all again at the completion of this program. Reset Outdoors is bringing our well-being program to students, using our nature-centered approach to encourage personal and professional growth. Together, we aim to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation through outdoor experiences that promote awareness, connection, and interdependence which ultimately lead to increased confidence. We had such a beautiful time at Harvest Full Of Hope yesterday! Harvest Full Of Hope is an annual, free mental health awareness conference where both providers and consumers of mental health services come together to discuss new topics in the field of Mental Health. It’s always a pleasure reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones! It’s also a nice reminder that us mental health professionals aren’t alone & that we have each other to rely on in this challenging field of work. At Reset Outdoors, we are huge nerds about interdependence and often discuss how the more diverse an ecosystem is, the more productive and healthy it is.
